SOCIAL AND SERVICE ACTIVITES

Who We Are

I'm a homeschool mom who has significant, invisible, inconsistent disabilities and a very social 11 year old daughter.  I created this coop to give her some consistent social events within my driving area.  Members range in age from almost 11 to 13.

Social Events

We engage in social events in and around the South Charlotte Area.  We alternate between events that cost money (like ice skating or laser tag) and events that are free (like park visits) and events where you control the cost (like coffee shops or restaurants).

Service Events
We've done crafts as fundraisers for local charities, made cards for sick kids, and we plan to continue to find ways to inspire the kids with age-appropriate service projects.

Ally Foundation

We welcome members of all races, ethnicities, national origins, religions, genders, sexual orientations, disabilities, income brackets, education privileges, and educational philosophies.

We recognize that "tolerating" is not the same as embracing others, so we pledge to actively accept, respect, and support each other.

We realize that so much unintended prejudice comes from ignorance, so we pledge to learn about our members' cultures and backgrounds.
